Little Apiary on the Prairie delivers package bees, nucleus colonies, and mated queens to 97 pickup stops across 10 states. Find your nearest stop below and select it at checkout. We do not ship live bees — you meet the truck.
When are the 2027 deliveries?
All 2027 delivery waves run in April 2027. Exact dates are to be announced.
We set wave dates once our California supplier’s timing is locked and we can see the spring weather picture. Announcing a date we can’t hold helps nobody, so we wait until the dates are real. When they are set, we post them here and email every customer. You will receive your exact stop, date, and time window by email before we roll.
Nucs and packages are never delivered on the same day. Nucs come through first, then packages follow through the same towns about two weeks later. If you order both, expect two pickup days.

Call or text (701) 809-0153 and tell us where you are. We plan routes around where customers actually are, and a cluster of beekeepers in one area is exactly what gets a new stop added the following season. That’s how most of these 97 stops came to exist.
