When Are Bees Delivered to Minnesota?
Minnesota is part of Wave 1 & Wave 2, with pickups scheduled for April 2027. We don’t have exact dates yet — you’ll get your stop, date, and time window by email as the route firms up.

What Bees Are Available in Minnesota?
Package Bees, 3 lb — $160
3 pounds of bees with a mated queen. Choose Carniolan bees (well-suited for cold Minnesota winters) or Italian bees (ideal for honey production).
Package Bees, 2 lb — $135
Two pounds of bees with a mated queen — the same genetics as our 3 lb package, just a smaller box. A good fit if you’re running smaller equipment or starting an extra colony without paying for a full package.
5-Frame Nucs — $195
Established mini-colonies with a laying queen, drawn comb, and brood. A great option for beginners and beekeepers seeking higher first-year success.
Minnesota Overwintered Nucs — $215
Premium survivor stock that successfully overwintered in a northern climate. Proven cold-hardy genetics for serious Minnesota beekeepers.
Mated Queens — $45
Mated Carniolan or Italian queens for requeening, splits, or replacing a colony that went queenless over winter. Our queens are unmarked — we do not mark queens.
