Who Is Little Apiary on the Prairie?

We're a family-owned beekeeping operation based in Fargo, North Dakota. Since 2018, we've helped thousands of beekeepers across the Northern Great Plains and Rocky Mountain region start and grow successful hives.

We serve beekeepers in Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Minnesota — delivering bees to 50+ pickup locations every spring.

We believe northern beekeepers deserve bees bred for northern climates — not stressed-out packages shipped cross-country from suppliers who've never seen a real winter.
